Photographs and documents only tell us the official stories of our heritage.  Its the voices of ordinary people that bring history to life; they have so much to tell us about families, schools, work, play, holidays, health, birth, death etc..  Because Fleetville is so multicultural, we are also interested in why and how families arrived in the area and how they adapted to life in the UK.

We are always grateful for contributions to our collection so if you have stories to tell of your life in Fleetville, please contact us to arrange an oral history interview.  Alternatively, if you enjoy writing, we would love to receive your recorded memories.
